NEST Academy CUP 2021 – 27 – 28 July 2021
The NEST Academy CUP 2021 was scheduled this year at The Aquila School Grounds in Dubai. 6 teams participated in the 7-a side tournament. The entire event was sponsored by Nest Academy of Management Education and Uninest Student Residences.
It was thrilling to see so many students participating in the event not just as players but by being amazing spectators who were constantly cheering for their favourite teams and it was an exhilarating experience for all the players.
Mr Gladwyn Victor, Head – Academic Quality Assurance, appreciated all the efforts of the organizing committee and the back-end support staff who made sure this event was a success. Mr. Nirmal Shah, Director, spoke about how events such as these help students to develop organisational skills and learn life lessons making our students Champions for Life.
Special thanks to Mr. Fabian Granados, who initiated the idea of this football event and Olasupo Abebesin for being the Chief organiser of the NEST Academy Cup. Casmiro Mwape Mulenga from Zambia was the captain of the winning team who was very happy to win this very competitive inaugural tournament
